Wounding trial in Supreme Court

assaulting and seriously wounding another man in September and October.

Ashley Wellman heard the charges against him in Magistrates' Court yesterday and will be brought back before the lower courts in two weeks for mention before a Supreme Court trial is set. He is accused of intending to do grievous bodily harm when causing unlawful wounding, possession of an offensive weapon and intent to do grievous bodily harm, doing grievous bodily harm.

Magistrate Edward King remanded Mr. Wellman, 24, of Cook's Hill Lane, in custody.
