Donna Marie Ferrari, 39, who denied possession of the controlled drug, was stopped by Customs officers at the Civil Air Terminal on Wednesday.
Ferrari's lawyer, Mr. Robin McMillan, said she allegedly failed to declare the prescription tablets when she arrived. They were allegedly found in a pill box in Ferrari's luggage.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis agreed to move to the trial this afternoon after Mr. McMillan said Ferrari had to return to New York City.
Ferrari was in Bermuda on business.
