Police spokesperson Evelyn James Barnett said Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a Spring Hill, Warwick residence on Tuesday evening.

The officers found the youth and his mother involved in a heated argument.

When the son lunged toward his mother, Police intervened but were assaulted in the process.

Mrs. James Barnett said one of the officers was struck in his ear while the other was kicked on his hand.
