Twenty-six-year-old Carlton Darrell was last night named as the fatal victim of a road accident on Friday evening.

Mr. Darrell, of Pembroke, crashed his motorcycle into a wall in Middle Road, Devonshire, after losing control at 10.35 p.m. near the junction with Belvedere Road, according to Police.

He died after suffering head, neck and chest injuries, to become Bermuda's third road fatality of 2010.

Police last night put out a short statement extending condolences to Mr. Darrell's family and friends, and urging witnesses to contact P.C. Richard Geraghty on 295-0011.
