A pedal cyclist was in intensive care after an accident involving a car yesterday morning.

The 24-year-old Sandys cyclist received head injuries when he was in collision with a car at the junction of Long Bay Lane and Cedars Lane in Sandys.
He was taken by ambulance to the intesive care unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
