Biker breaks leg
A 24-year-old Hamilton man broke his leg and dislocated his hip after being involved in an accident in Paget.
At 3.45 a.m. on Thursday, Police attended an accident on South Road, near Bermuda College, involving a car and a motorcycle.
It appears that the motorcycle was travelling west on South Road and the car was travelling in the opposite direction when they collided.
The Hamilton man was riding the bike when he sustained his injuries and was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the car, a 31-year-old Hamilton Parish man, was not injured. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the car received extensive front end damage.
Motocross cycles taken
Around 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday, Police received a report of a theft from a West Park Lane, Pembroke home.
Between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. someone entered a shed on the property and stole two motocross cycles. The off-road motorcycles are described as a blue Yamaha 250F and a lime green Kawasaki 250F, both have the number 91 featured prominently on them.
Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of these off-road motorcycles to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
