Fight on Front Street

Police attended a fight involving three men outside a Front Street bar around midnight on Sunday.

Two men, a 30-year-old Pembroke man and a 27-year-old Devonshire man, were arrested following the incident outside The Beach.

The third man, a 27-year-old from Pembroke, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of a laceration above his right eye and later released. Police said inquiries into the incident were ongoing.

Burglary in Paget

Burglars stole a black 32in Toshiba LCD television, a silver Compaq laptop computer, a black 19in LG LCD television and a white iPod after breaking into a home in Paget. The burglary happened on South Road between 1 p.m. and 5.20 p.m. on Saturday. The break-in was one of 11 reported burglaries over the weekend.

Road arrests

Five people were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving over the weekend. There were eight road crashes resulting in injury and 13 involving damage to vehicles only. Seven vehicles were reported taken without consent.
