Man cut in car park fight
A St. George's man was cut during a fight with another man Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to the fight in the vicinity of Bull's Head car park and found a Pembroke man brandishing a bladed article.
Police arrested the 38-year-old. The victim, also 38, sustained injuries to his left arm and right hand. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
Inquiries into this incident are underway and a court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Police seek bike crash man
A light skinned man crashed into a car Wednesday evening as he tried to evade Police.
The man, who has yet to be arrested, was first spotted by Police on Middle Road, in Warwick, at 6 p.m. Police tried to stop him for riding a motorcycle without a helmet but he accelerated and drove off. As Police followed him the motorcyclist collided with a car at the junction with Greendale Lane and fell to the ground.
The young man, believed to be in his 20s, then ran off towards T. N. Tatem Middle School with Police running after him.
The young man escaped in the end but Police have asked witnesses for information on the man who is described as approximately 5 ft 5 in tall with low cut black hair
His motocross cycle was impounded by Police. The driver of the car involved in the collision, a 71-year-old Southampton woman, was not injured but her car received rear-end damage.
Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for people with information to call 234-1010.
