Police yesterday renewed calls for information about last week's fatal shooting.

Officers investigating the murder of George Lynch are hoping members of the public will respond to their requests.

Mr. Lynch was shot outside a Hamilton Parish home last Wednesday.

The shooting occurred at the same Midland Heights Crescent property where Temasgan Furbert was viciously attacked 15 months prior.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about Mr. Lynch's murder to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8121 or the 24-hour confidential CrimeStoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.

Police break up fight at Front Street bar

Police attended a disturbance at the Bistro at the Beach on Front Street early Saturday morning.

A fight broke out between male patrons as they were leaving the bar.

Officers attended the area and used a deterrent spray but the men quickly left the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.

Police seek witnesses of Ice Queen shooting

Police are appealing for more witnesses to Saturday morning's shooting at Ice Queen.

The Bermuda Police Service issued a statement thanking the public for their assistance so far.

"To date several people have come forward and we are encouraged by their cooperation. We would also like to thank the public for their patience while the scene was being processed," the statement read.

Stabbing victim refuses to give statement

A 20-year-old stabbing victim refused to tell Police any details of the attack and people who took him to hospital also refused to say what happened.

The victim, from Warwick, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital early on Saturday and Police officers happened to be there at the time.

According to a Police statement, the victim was not forthcoming about how he was injured and those who took him to the hospital declined to say what happened to him and left immediately.

Four arrested for impaired driving

Over the weekend four people were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and Police received four reported burglaries.

There were also 12 reported damage only road traffic accidents, five reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and two vehicles stolen.
