Boaters reminded it's illegal to block public docks

The Marine Police Unit has issued an advisory reminding boat owners and operators not to leave their vessels tied alongside public docks or landings, unattended or overnight.
Such action causes an obstruction and prevents others from using the docks. It can also be a hindrance to emergency personnel should they need to use such areas. The offence carries a $100 fine.
