A residence on Cherry Hill in Pembroke was hit some time on Monday afternoon.
The resident discovered that someone had gained forced entry when he returned home around 2.15 p.m. The bedroom had been searched and a quantity of jewellery taken.
A home on First Avenue in Pembroke was also hit on the same day. The culprit ransacked the interior and stole an amount of change and a canvas bag.
A thief gained access to a Court Street office over the weekend and removed cash from a box inside a drawer.
A classroom on Palmetto Road in Pembroke was also broken into on Monday.
A blue and white bag was taken from the insecure room at the Opportunity Workshop while the victim was conducting activities elsewhere. The bag contained cash in various denominations, bank cards, identification and other personal items.
Heading west, in Paget, a would-be thief entered a Salt Kettle Road residence through a window and there was also a break-in on Colony Road in Southampton.
A video camera and jewellery were stolen. The culprit is believed to have entered the residence by force. A significant amount of change was also taken.
In the east end a home at My Lord's Bay in Hamilton Parish was hit Monday.
