Former college president Archie Hallett told The Royal Gazette that the roundabout on the southern driveway would be resurfaced shortly, following an anonymous student's complaint that it was "taking forever''.

He said: "It's in the hands of the contractors who are being a little slow but we're after them to do it.

"Most of the preparatory work has been done like the curbs and they should start laying the tarmac soon.'' Dr. Hallett said present college construction work was coming to an end -- but only for the time being.

The college would always grow and more work would have to be done along the way to meet demands. "But that's all that's on the books for now,'' he said.
