Crime statistics by parish

With arrests up 25 percent for January to June this year and Police reporting they have arrested many serious repeat burglars The Royal Gazette takes a look at the breakdown of robberies, stolen vehicles and burglaries in each parish.

In total 55 arrests were made for robberies in the first six months of the year, meanwhile Police received reports of 78 robberies during the same period.

There were also 115 arrests made for burglary compared to 466 reports of burglary during the six month period.

People also reported 383 vehicles were taken without the owners' consent (TWOC), information on how many arrests were made regarding this crime was not made public at yesterday's Police press conference.

Police noted that several arrests have been made for the period which took prolific offenders of these offences off the streets.
