Dog stolen from a Hamilton Parish home

A burglar broke into a Hamilton Parish home while it was unoccupied on Saturday and stole a dog.
At around 3.30 p.m., Police responded to a breaking and entering that took place on Blue Hole Hill. The residents of the home said they left at around 10 a.m. and when they returned at 2 p.m. the dog had been removed.
Nothing else appeared to be taken from the home.
Earlier that day, at around 1 p.m., two televisions were reported stolen from a home on Poinciana Road, Devonshire.
The Police spokesman said that officers are investigating both burglaries.
