Police spokesman has reported.

The hand carved jug, which sat at the centre of the hanging sign outside the Swizzle Inn, went missing between the night of April 20 and the next morning.

It is the first time that the 20-year-old jug, which was originally made by a Boston artist, was removed from the sign.

Swizzle Inn General Manager Ian Leaning said: "It's just amusing that someone would want to take something like that home as a souvenir.'' The Inn is offering a $100 reward for the return of the jug and is willing to throw in a free jug of rum swizzle for its safe return.
