Man charged with helping fugitive

A Pembroke man was yesterday charged with sheltering Alvone Maybury while he was on the run.Kim Knights was charged in Magistrates' Court with harbouring the escaped prisoner in a shed in Pembroke on July 27.The 26-year-old was also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice by giving false personal details to a Police Constable.
A Pembroke man was yesterday charged with sheltering Alvone Maybury while he was on the run.
Kim Knights was charged in Magistrates' Court with harbouring the escaped prisoner in a shed in Pembroke on July 27.
The 26-year-old was also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice by giving false personal details to a Police Constable.
Knights, of Secret Lane, elected for his case to be heard in the Supreme Court. He was not required to enter a plea for either offence.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded him in custody. He will return to court on September 7 for mention.
