Twenty-one-year-old Mikado Burchall has been fined $400 after pleading guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia.
Magistrates' Court heard that on January 3, Burchall, of Pembroke, was involved in a fight outside Brown & Co., on Front Street.
Police responded to the scene at 3.30 a.m. and took Burchall to Hamilton Police station.
After a search, a "red and white grinder containing plant material" was found in his pocket. A Government analyst later confirmed that the plant material was cannabis.
