Everett Ray Hetland has died at the age of 83 in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Mr. Hetland, who was born in Valley Springs South Dakota, died last Tuesday at the Life Care Centre in Hendersonville. He was a widower.

While in Bermuda in the 1960s Mr. Hetland was also member of the Bermuda Trade Development Board.

The dog broke free of his chain and ran off Simons' property on February 5, Magistrates' Court heard. While a girl next door was trying to recapture him, he got agitated and bit a woman walking nearby on the leg, prosecutor Sgt.

Simons, of Woodlands Road in Sandys Parish, pleading guilty to keeping a dog who caused injury to a woman, said he had secured the dog before he left for work.

Police say Jamaican currency was found on the man, and it could be linked to an unreported crime.
