Police search for missing Frenchman
Police are looking for a 54-year-old French national, who was last reported seen in August.
George Bossert is described as a white male, around 5ft 7in, with blue eyes and grey hair.
A Police spokesman said: "He is reportedly a well known chef and butcher, previously working at local restaurants.
"Mr. Bossert last resided at the Salvation Army Shelter, on Parsons Road, in Pembroke, and the Emergency Housing complex in St. David's."
Fuel prices to drop
Filling up at the pumps will now be cheaper, with drops in fuel prices for gasoline, diesel and kerosene.
The Ministry of Finance released the latest fuel prices yesterday.
As from Wednesday, the maximum retail price for a litre of gasoline will be 173.20 cents ($1.73) a drop of 2.9 cents.
A litre of diesel will cost 155.90 cents ($1.56) 2.3 cents less, while kerosene will retail at 129 cents ($1.29) per litre a decrease of 1.3 cents.
Electronic items stolen from home
A home on Second Avenue in Pembroke was robbed of electronic items.
Two black HP laptop computers, two HTC cellular phones, a black Apple I-Pod, a watch and a quantity of cash were stolen from the home on Wednesday afternoon.
Police report that around 12.45 p.m. they received a report of a burglary with the complainant stating that sometime between 11 a.m. and noon that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied.
Inquiries are underway.
