Walkers, cyclists and other fund-raisers can now sign up for the End-to-End online.

A new website lets your fingers do the walking, so saving those feet for that punishing 24-mile trek on May 2.

"Our new site is bright and entertaining, reflecting the spirit of our event," says Anne Mello, chairman of the Bermuda End-to-End Charitable Trust, which organises the annual event.

"In the 22 years since this event began, the participant numbers have grown exponentially. With thousands of dedicated people now walking or otherwise making their way across the Island to raise money for charities, we now rank as the largest single fund-raising event in Bermuda.

"As such, our goal with the new website was to make it as easy as possible for participants to register for the event and to allow those people who support them to share their enthusiasm."

The new website will be updated more and will include information about the Bermuda End-to-End's partnership with the Live Healthy Bermuda 100-Day Challenge.

The secure site will also allow participants and their teams to have personal pages, and supporters who pledge online can post notes to them.

Advantage Ltd. consulted on the new website, while QuoVadis provided the security including Extended Validation SSL to encrypt credit card and personal information.
