have failed to properly maintain the vegetation on their property.

The Ministry will suspend garbage and recycling collection from locations where trees and hedges are overgrown and roads are difficult to negotiate.

Residents of affected areas will receive letters from the Waste Management Section asking them to cut back vegetation within two weeks of receiving notice.

Residents are also asked to ensure that their vegetation does not affect collection in neighbouring areas.
