Teen girl says she was target of attack
of young boys.
The 15-year-old girl told Police that on Monday evening she was outside the Heron Bay MarketPlace, in Southampton, when she was approached by two boys who racially abused and theatened to hurt her.
A Police spokesperson said: "The girl said she ignored this and walked, along with another young man, away from the area towards the railway trail behind the Bermuda Institute.
"There, the two young men again threatened her and were joined by another three young men who all continued to make racial slurs and threats.
"One of the youths then apparently grabbed her and began to hit her in the face causing her nose to bleed and injuring her mouth. The youths then left the area.''
