Three women charged with threatening a court witness

Police escort three women accused of intimidating a witness to Magistrates' Court yesterday. All three have denied the charge and were released on bail of $5,000 with one surety.
Three women have appeared in Magistrates' Court accused of threatening and intimidating a court witness.
Demika Gibbons, 26 and Katrina Smith, 27, both from Warwick, and Malika Scott, 21, from St. George's, denied they harassed witness Jahmeekah Wilson on June 9 — as she was about to appear in judicial proceedings.
They also denied uttering threatening words to Ms Wilson on the same day.
The trio were bailed for $5,000 and one like surety each and ordered by Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo to stay away from the complainant in this case.
They will appear back in court on September 29 for trial.
