Two men appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday on charges of assault and robbery.

Steven Iris, 18, of Duck's Puddle, Hamilton Parish, and Joshua Wolffe, 23, of Cockburn, Sandys, did not have to enter a plea as their case must be heard in Supreme Court.

Both men are charged with robbing Steffan Adderley of $1,650 in cash and jewellery and Matthew Renaud of $500, and a Motorola phone $300.

Iris was charged separately to causing grievous bodily harm to Mr. Renaud. Wolffe and Iris were remanded in custody and will return to court for an administrative hearing in two weeks.

A man was left in the intensive care unit at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after the alleged robbery last week in St. George's.
