The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for witnesses to Saturday's shooting in Somerset.

The shooting took place around 2.05 p.m. in the area of Somerset Road and Sound View Road and the victim, a 30-year-old Paget man was taken to hospital for a gunshot wound to the leg.

A statement said Police are investigating the matter and all lines of inquiry are being explored, including the examination of forensic evidence collected at the scene.
