Hundreds of children will come together at the National Sports Centre today to take part in the annual After School Programme Summer Fest.

The students will take part in mini-camps, with opportunities to experience a range of sports from soccer and cricket to lacrosse and netball.

A spokesperson for the Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation said: "The national coaches, athletes and staff of sport in Bermuda are committed to assisting the department in developing strong, confident and healthy youth through sport and recreation."

The event starts at the National Sports Centre's North Field at 4 p.m., and will run until 6 p.m.
