Gunfire timeline: 14 people shot this year
In just 12 months 14 people have been shot across the Island.
While Police have recorded more than 40 gun related incidents — some of which are reports of gun shots heard — only nine of these incidents have resulted in people ending up injured or dead.
Of the fourteen people shot Kumi Harford and Kenwandee "Wheels" Robinson — both of whom lived on St. Monica's Road — have died as a result of the shootings, which started in May with Mr. Robinson's death.
Mr. Harford was the most recent victim, he was gunned down on St. Monica's Road at 5 a.m. on Saturday.
So far, only one person has been charged in connection with any of the shootings.
Cervio Cox, 26, of Clarendon Road, Smith's, denied seven charges including conspiracy to murder and using a firearm to commit an indictable offence in relation to shootings that took place on Court Street in May.
The Royal Gazette takes a look at the past seven months of madness.
