Six friends were robbed by a gang of six hooded men as they walked along Cobbs Hill Road, Paget.

One of the robbers stole cash from one of the victims before the offenders all ran away toward Ord Road at about 10.30 p.m. on Saturday.

None of the victims — who were from all over the Island with ages ranging from 29 to 31 — were injured. They had been walking north toward Middle Road when the gang approached them and demanded money.

The suspects are described as black, aged 18 to 22, with low haircuts, wearing hooded tops and blue jeans.

Police searched for them without success. Witnesses should call Chief Inspector Tracy Adams on 295-0011 or the Serious Crime Unit on 299-4315.
