Last week's serious road accident victims still in hospital
Two people badly injured in road collisions last week continued to be treated in US hospitals yesterday.
A 30-year-old Pembroke man sustained serious head injuries and a broken leg when his motorcycle collided with a truck on Trimingham Road in Paget around 10.20 p.m last Monday.
He remained in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston yesterday, where a spokesman said he was in a "serious condition".
Last Tuesday, a 30-year-old Paget woman sustained serious head and chest injuries when her motorcycle collided with a truck on Middle Road in Devonshire around 8.25 p.m.
She remained in Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts, yesterday. A spokeswoman said her condition was also "serious".
Another collision between a motorcycle and a truck in Paget claimed the life of 27-year-old Omar Sutton in the early hours of Saturday (see separate story.)
