A multi-tasking motorcyclist was fined after Police noticed him texting while overtaking traffic on his bike in heavy rain.
Prosecutor Marie Sofianos told Magistrates' Court yesterday that 18-year-old Domonique Lambert was spotted driving recklessly in Flatts at about 5.20 p.m. on July 5.
They ticketed him for driving in a dangerous manner and riding an unlicensed and uninsured vehicle.
Lambert admitted all three offences and was fined $1,750 by Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo.
The Magistrate also issued the Astwood Lane resident nine demerit points for the offences.
