Saltus 11 rank amongst world's best
Eleven Saltus Grammar School students have ranked among some of the highest performing high-schoolers in the world for their achievement on college-level exams.
Kathryn Dilke, Thomas Godfrey, Oliver Riihiluoma, Rebecca Dickson, Lawrence Doughty, Timothy Fox, Brittney Walbaum, Andrew White, Ade Brown, Jordan Robbins and Raisa Stovell were named as AP Scholars by the College Board for their achievement on college-level Advanced Placement Program (AP Exams).
The Advanced Placement Program allows students to take college-level courses while still in high school and receive college credit, advance placement or both, for a successful performance.
Of the more than 1.4 million high school students in 16,000 secondary schools worldwide, only 18 percent scored high enough to be recognised as AP Scholars.
An additional eleven Saltus students took AP exams in SGY1 scoring a grade three or higher: Yvonna Osborne and Jessica Zuiker in Micro Economics and English Language; Kyle Martin, Philip Parsons, Jonathan (Bryce) Petty, Alton Roberts and Thomas Sleeter in Micro Economics; and Ellisse Johnston, Nicholas Rinehimer, Matthew Ross and Matthew Witkowski in English language.
