Two teenagers have been accused of committing four robberies in less than an hour.

Dennzel Crockwell, 16, of Sandys, and Ajani Albouy-Lovell, 18, of Warwick, pleaded not guilty at Magistrates' Court yesterday to four counts of robbery.

The incidents are alleged to have taken place in Hamilton between 9.55 p.m. and 10.35 p.m. on Thursday.

In the first, two British businessmen were robbed as they walked towards the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. The teenagers are accused of stealing $220 from Richard Godfrey and £ 50 from Donald Cargill.

They are also accused of attacking a Nepalese guest worker, Sobin Magar, in Park Road. He is said to have been punched in the face as his alleged attackers took goods to the value of $600. These included an Apple iPod and case, M3 Wireless Internet receiver, Motorola cell phone, a green bag, prayer beads, four pens and a wristlet.

The teenagers are also accused of attacking Vincent Gomes in Church Street and of stealing a wallet containing $500.

Crockwell, a painter and GED student at the Southampton Seventh-day Adventist Church, and Albouy-Lovell, a student, were remanded in custody until their next court appearance on February 23.
