A tropical depression could reach the Island within the next few days.
The weather system is currently north of Cuba with the low pressure pushing northwards towards Bermuda.
Andrew Hobson, Bermuda Weather Service meteorologist, said on Friday evening: "It will mean strengthening winds and the potential for some heavy rain, but at the moment it is uncertain as to how it will develop."
A small craft warning is likely to be in place on Monday, and the Bermuda Weather Service is monitoring the situation.
"We should know more in the coming days as to how it will develop and whether it will affect us here in Bermuda," said Mr. Hobson.
