American voters living in the Bermuda have been asked their opinion on absentee voting.

Yesterday the United States Federal Voting Assistance Program released a Congressionally mandated survey to gather opinions on the absentee voting experience of US citizens living overseas.

In order to improve the process of voting in US elections while living abroad the Department of Defence, which is in charge of absentee voting, has issued a survey.

To access the survey on the internet, please go to http://www.drcsurveys.com/PEV2/News/.

The survey does not require any personally identifiable information, such as name, date of birth, or social security number, and all results will be kept confidential and not shared with the Internal Revenue Service and any other government and/or private organisation.

The data collected from this survey will be reviewed to help identify what is working and what can be improved.
