Whale expert to give lecture
Wildlife fans can enjoy a whale of a tale tomorrow at the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo.
World-renowned whale expert Doug Nowacek will provide insights into these majestic animals and the latest plans to track their movements.
The scientist will give a presentation on research by Duke University Marine Laboratory to use electronic tags to learn more about humpback whale underwater behaviour.
'Foraging ecology of humpback whales north and south: Stellwagen Bank and the Western Antarctic Peninsula' takes place at the Education Auditorium at 7 p.m.
The talk has been organised by the Bermuda Zoological Society. Tickets are on sale at the BAMZ reception and cost $10 for members, $15 for non-members. They will not be available on the door on the night.
