A planned road resurfacing project in Pembroke, which was to have started yesterday has been suspended until further notice.
The Ministry of Works and Engineering had scheduled work on Glebe Road over a four-day period starting April 5.
Repairs would have seen the junction west of Secret Lane to the junction at North Shore Road closed.
The road will remain open until work starts, at a date yet to be chosen.
The Ministry is also advising the public that paving will commence this week on Palmetto Road from just east of the Dock Hill roundabout. Repairs will continue towards the Barkers Hill roundabout. Motor vehicles will be prevented from travelling that section of Palmetto Road during that time.
