A 24-year-old Pembroke man has appeared in Magistrates’ Court on charges of attempted murder and handling a firearm.Noet Alexander Barnett, of Footbridge Lane, is accused of attempting to murder Jeremiah Dill last October. Mr Barnett is represented by Victoria Pearman.He was not required to enter a plea, as his case must be dealt with by the Supreme Court.A long form preliminary inquiry in which a Magistrate will evaluate the evidence was set for March 17 by Magistrate Juan Wolffe. Mr Barnett was remanded into custody.
