Successful initiatives such as this gift of books for Bermuda’s young readers contribute to the continued success and well being of our community.”The press release added: “The content of this title is relevant to today’s Bermuda as it looks to highlight key issues that young Bermudians need to consider toward Bermuda’s sustainable development, specifically where their food comes from and the importance of farming and agriculture.”The book is also said to act as an introduction into the ecological principles behind farming, such as soil structure and food chains, highlighting local produce and machinery used in the agriculture.
