Firemen pull injured woman from car

A 38-year-old woman had to be freed from her car after it ended up on its side in a single-vehicle accident in Paget.The car had flipped over in Berry Hill Road, near the junction with Tee Street, at about 8.30am yesterday.Firefighters pulled the woman out of the car through the side door and police officers are investigating how the accident happened.The woman was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.A 49-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car, managed to get himself out of the vehicle and was not injured.Bermuda Police Service say inquiries into this accident are ongoing.
