As Easter Sunday approaches, the Bermuda Bible Society has observed Holy Week with two days of public Bible readings. The proclamations of the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles took place on Monday and Tuesday in St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Hamilton. The 9am to 9pm readings are inspired by the accounts of proclamations in the Old Testament’s Book of Nehemiah. The practice was taken up by the Canadian Bible Society, with which Bermuda’s chapter is now affiliated.Useful link: www.biblesociety.ca
