CableVision service interrupted
Viewers were left without cable TV yesterday when CableVision suffered an interruption to its services.Cable boxes across the Island are said to have shut down yesterday afternoon with some remaining out of service until early evening.CableVision reported this was because of “a technical issue” and apologised for its customers for any inconvenience.Terry Roberson, Bermuda CableVision’s general manager, said: “Bermuda CableVision would like to advise its subscribers that, due to a technical issue experienced yesterday afternoon, several cable boxes shut down throughout the island.”“We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by this temporary interruption to our services.”CableVision staff worked to resolve the issue by rebooting the majority of cable boxes by 6.30pm.If you are still experiencing problems with your CableVision you should call 292-5544.
