Plan to liven up Dockyard

Environment Minister Walter Roban today launched a promotion for a Heritage Nights programme designed to liven up Dockyard on Thursday nights.The event, which kicks off tomorrow night, will run for 18 weeks and will feature live music, ethnic dance performances, juggling acts and craft demonstrations, Mr Roban told a press conference this afternoon.The Victualling Yard will have county fair-style entertainment, while a pub garden with a crown and anchor table and local food and drink and rum tasting will be set up outside the Frog and Onion.Mr Roban said visitors and residents can also look forward to a craft market, games area, entertainment stage and food and beverage area.
