A 29-year-old man has this morning been charged in Magistrates’ Court with sexual assault causing bodily harm.The man was not required to enter a plea, since the charge must be dealt with by the Supreme Court. He was charged also with intruding on the privacy of a woman, to which he pleaded not guilty.Both offences are in connection with an alleged assault on a woman on Saturday in Smith’s.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner refused bail and remanded the man into custody.He will return to court on June 14.
