A new driveway between Point Finger Road and the Botanical Gardens is now open, the Bermuda Hospitals Board advised residents yesterday.The driveway, which is located near the mobile construction site on Point Finger Road, does not grant access to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.A BHB spokeswoman said: “Paget Health Services made a commitment to replace the former entrance road to the Botanical Gardens which was closed due to construction activity on the new hospital building site.“For those on foot, a sidewalk that joins Point Finger Road and the Botanical Gardens has been built adjacent to Paget Health Services’ mobile site offices.“BHB would also like to inform the public that the new entrance door to the Continuing Care Unit is now operational, and the footpath from Point Finger Road to that door is now open.”
