Bus drivers could end up working to rule or banning overtime over their schedule dispute with Government, union leader Chris Furbert said today. The Bermuda Industrial Union president said, if Government does not meet a series of demands over timetables and other issues, members will vote over what kind of action to take at a meeting on Thursday evening.Returning from his vacation today, Mr Furbert told a press conference Transport Minister Terry Lister was wrong to say the union had issued a 21-day strike notice.Hinting that his relationship with Mr Lister has become strained, Mr Furbert insisted the threat had been of “industrial action”, which does not necessarily mean a strike. For the full story, see tomorrow’s Royal Gazette.
