Jury selected for attempted murder trial

A jury was selected this morning for the trial of two men charged with attempted murder.Jah’mico Trott, 23, and Dunn-yah Taylor, 22, were charged with the September 23 shooting of David Godwin on Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke on September 23.Both men were also charged with unlawfully shooting at Mr Godwin.Mr Trott alone was charged with using a firearm to commit the offence of attempted murder, and carrying a firearm in a public place on the same date.Both men have pleaded not guilty to all the charges against them.Following the selection of the jury, Puisne Judge Carlisle Greaves adjourned the trial until Monday.Lawyer Marc Daniels will represent Mr Taylor during the trial; Graveney Bannister is lawyer for Mr Trott.
