The Longbird Bridge is to close for scheduled maintenance this weekend.A Government spokesperson said the St George’s span would be closed to traffic on Sunday, from 6am to 10am.“During the period of the closure, vehicles will be restricted to one-lane traffic,” the spokesman said.“The Ministry [of Public Works] apologises for any inconvenience caused by this brief lane closure and requests that motorists cooperate with the traffic control devices in this area.”
