Bermuda win toss and bat as Bascome gets first start
Bermuda have won the toss and will bat first in their ICC Americas Division One match in Florida against Canada this evening.David Moore has only made one change to the side that beat Suriname yesterday, handing Oronde Bascome his first start of the tournament.The St George's skipper comes in to the side in place of George O'Brien and is expected to bat at number four.Dennico Hollis and Sammy Robinson again miss out, with Hollis the only member of the squad yet to play in the competition.Bascome comes in to a Bermuda side who are unbeaten in the tournament so far and are facing a Canada team without many of their first choice players.As well as the Division One event, Canada have an Intercontinental Cup series against Afghanistan to prepare for, while their under-19s are in Ireland taking part in the World Cup qualifiers.Bermuda: D Hemp, D Bascome, L Cann, F Crockwell, K Leverock, OJ Pitcher, D Minors, R Trott, M Jones, D Bell and J Gilbert.
