Two men were injured in separate shooting incidents, poilce said yesterday.On Friday at about 9.10pm police and first responders attended a reported road traffic accident where a person was injured on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish area.A Police spokesman said: “However, subsequent inquiries determined that the collision occurred following a confirmed firearm incident where a Pembroke man in his 30s sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. As a result, officers cordoned off the scene and conducted a thorough search of the area.”The second incident happened at around 3.20am yesterday on North Shore Road, in Devonshire.The spokesman added: “A Devonshire man in his 20s sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. As a result, officers cordoned off the scene and conducted a thorough search of the area which resulted in items of interest being recovered which will be forensically examined.“A full investigation into both incidents is underway.
