Weather to improve for the weekend

Better weather is in store for the weekend as Tropical Storm Sean moves away to Bermuda's Northeast.Although a tropical storm warning remains in effect for the Island, Sean had pulled 100m away by noon and was continuing off into the Atlantic. The worst of the storm blew over the Island in the small hours of this morning, as gale to storm force winds blew in from the South.Seas were rough along the South Shore, and waves outside the reef will remain at ten to 15 throughout this afternoon. Gale force gusts should be anticipated through the rest of the day.As high pressure moves into the area, the Island should see brighter skies with a few scattered showers over the weekend.
